A New Year, A New River

The Los Angeles River Revitalization Corp. is unleashing new innovations to transform one of our greatest resources: The LA River. For decades, the river's potential has been ignored. It has been viewed as little more than an environmental eyesore or a film location. Those days are over. The river is changing for the better and our city is changing right alongside it.
We're already facilitating green business development along the river and exploring new services like bike rental vending stations, art installations, community gardens, mobile food concessions and even a zip-line. Other investments are being made in parks, public spaces and water quality improvements.
Now we need your support to take river revitalization to the next level. When you invest in the LA River, you invest in LA's economy, environment, green spaces and communities. Most of all, you're helping to transform the place we all call home into a better place to live, work and play.

The LA River Revitalization Corp. is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit established by the LA City Council and the Mayor's office as an independent organization to implement a visionary plan to revitalize the river. The LA River is at the heart of our vision to transform Los Angeles into a cleaner, greener, more accessible, more prosperous community.
We rely on individual supporters like you. Please donate online today. Together, we can change the course of LA in 2012.
